Jantar Mantar पर प्रदर्शन के दौरान एक वर्ग विशेष के खिलाफ नारेबाजी से जुड़े एक वीडियो के सिलसिले में दिल्ली पुलिस ने वकील और भाजपा के पूर्व प्रवक्ता अश्विनी उपाध्याय समेत छह लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया था. इनमें अश्विनी उपाध्याय समेत 4 आरोपियों को दो दिन की न्यायिक हिरासत में भेजा गया है. इस मामले पर दिल्ली पुलिस के डीसीपी दीपक यादव ने कहा, ‘‘हमें एक वीडियो मिला है और हम इसकी जांच कर रहे हैं. कानून की प्रासंगिक धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है और जांच जारी है.’’
