With the 2018 facelift, Hyundai has introduced a new CVT automatic gearbox for the petrol version. This lets it compare more favourably to the automatic versions of its two main rivals – the Maruti Baleno and the Honda Jazz, which recently got a mild update. Nikhil Bhatia plays referee.
