Indus Valley civilization was one of the largest ancient civilizations. When it was on its peak it included more than 5 million inhabitants and covered an area which was larger than Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia civilizations combined.
Indus Valley Civilization also known as the Harappan civilization. This Civilization created cities 4,500 years ago which were carefully planned. The Civilization cities were known for their urban planning, baked brick houses, water supply systems etc. The houses in these ancient cities also featured bathrooms and flush toilets. These are the interesting factors about this civilization. The biggest mystery about the Indus valley civilization is how this civilization collapsed, what cause it to disappeared?
